From our point of view here on Earth, The Sun, Our Local Star is the most awesome thing in the Universe! However, most people totally take for granted all of the energy it provides both us and our entire Solar System. If the Sun were to Slowly or Instantly lose all of it's energy and go dark, life on Earth would be very different. In fact, this would leave many, including Al Gore wishing for a little Man Made Global Warming!
